STELLALUNA by Janell Cannon.

A classic bedtime story, quiet, calming, soothing.  This recording is intended as a demo for you, to replicate how you might do it in your session, but do enjoy Pamela Reed reading it (beautifully!) but with orchestral strings and cut away close-ups to give it the glossy touch!

MONSTERSAURUS by Claire Freedman.

This was a new one for me - one of the joys of doing this project for KidsREAD was discovering such a wonderful selection of kids titles (Three cheers for the NLB - I think it’s a terrific set of titles!!)

STONE SOUP retold by Heather Forest.

I enjoyed this, as Heather has a very different take on the story. Here’s an extract of me telling (not reading) the story in a park with the help of several young audience members and enthusiastic Mums&Dads (and the MP for Joo Chiat, Charles Chong!) And here as we told it collectively to close PINKS 2014

THE EMPTY POT retold by Demi.

Exquisite illustrations are the hallmark of all Demi’s retellings of folktales Heather and the library has many titles in their collection.
