As every actor will tell you, intention (motivation) is critical to finding a way to say the lines. Try using this simple text and interpreting it in a wide variety of ways - from emotionless reportage to high drama!

Mary had a little lamb

Its fleece was white as snow

And everywhere that Mary went -

The lamb was sure to go!


Say it as if:



Try saying words

in such a way as to reflect their meaning.

Say quick quickly;

whisper whisper;

make long loooong.
